Marketing + Public Awareness Project

The first stage of this project will require investigation into the following:

  • General BVC messaging and branding.
  • Messaging and branding required to drive consumer demand for BVC certified buildings and sustainable homes generally.
  • Concept designs for print and online media.
  • Concept designs for house plan Stamps, Verification Reports and Building Performance Labels that will inform the development of the Verification Processing System (VPS).
  • Identification of effective channels and channel partners.
  • Design of consumer study to determine the building performance metrics they comprehend and respond to.
  • Design of research project to ensure that the BVC has a positive and measurable impact on improving housing stock and asset values, while reducing energy consumption, resource use, pollution and water use.
  • Design of a market survey to determine consumer awareness and confidence, if the scheme is changing consumer behaviour and improving the health and wellbeing of users, as well as contributing to overall social improvement.
